Where conflict and harm are addressed through Restorative Justice processes
Samaadhaan Centre for Restorative Justice (SCRJ) will offer restorative processes by trained facilitators resolving conflict, addressing harm, and supporting repair, accountability, and reintegration.
Who can approach Samaadhaan Centre for Restorative Justice?
- Individuals and families, including from marginalised communities, seeking respectful and dignified resolution
- Adult survivors of sexual violence wishing to explore non-adversarial pathways to justice
- Children and young people, desirous of repairing relationships and seeking reintegration into the community
- Organisations seeking restorative responses to harm or conflict at the workplace

What are the Safeguards?
- Restorative Processes will be initiated only with the informed consent of parties involved.
- Parties will not be compelled to participate. They can withdraw at any time, even after giving consent.
- Restorative Process may not be appropriate in all cases. Suitability will be determined in every case.
- Restorative processes will be facilitated in keeping with existing laws.
- Confidentiality of the process will be maintained.
- Parental/Guardian agreement & support is essential for participation of children.
- Restorative Processes will not be facilitated with children below 12 years of age.
